Job DescriptionJob Description

We are looking for a Customer Service Supervisor to lead the catalog order entry and customer service employees. Perform some bookkeeping and assist with HR activities.

Basic daily functions include: Understand, supervise the customer service department and support company operations, policies
and procedures. Perform all responsibilities to ensure customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions/Tasks


Supervisory Responsibilities:
 Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new customer service staff.
 Ensures customer satisfaction.
 Oversees the daily workflow of the department.

 Assigns tasks to order entry/customer service employees.
 Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
 Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
 Handles employee time off schedules and approves time cards.
 Assist the bookkeeper in accounts payable/receivable when needed.
 Perform routine operating duties, such as back orders, solving customer issues.
 Performs other related duties as assigned.

Duties/Responsibilities:
 Service customers in mail order entry/phone.
 Investigate, resolve and respond to customer inquiries and resolving issues or complaints.
 Ensure all customer emails are answered.
 Contact customers regarding bounced checks/short pays.
 Assist in wholesale order entry and shipment.
 Coordinates office parties and events.
 Other duties as needed.

Qualifications, training, knowledge requirements, experience or other requirements:
 Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal communication skills.
 Word/excel knowledge.
 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
 Analytical and problem-solving skills.
 Supervisory and leadership skills.
 Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate to meet deadlines.
 Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
