Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Guilford, Connecticut.  This is a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization  
 
Responsibilities:  

  • Prepare patients for their appointments by gathering and recording essential clinical information.
  • Accurately document all patient interactions in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Manage incoming patient calls: answer inquiries, take messages, and ensure they reach the right person.
  • Track and follow up on tasks: monitor overdue orders, enter test results, and ensure timely completion.
  • Conduct Point of Care testing and accurately report results.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduate of Accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
  • Medical assistant experience is preferred

Additional Information:  

  • Location:  Guilford, Connecticut
  • Job Type: Contract to hire.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday – 08:00 am to 05:30 pm
  • Pay Range: $ 17.00 to 23.00/hour.  

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
