SUMMARY

JOB SUMMARY: SOCIAL MEDIA /ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

The position requires a variety of administrative and social media responsibilities. You will work closely with the President and Vice President to develop a larger media footprint while assisting with day-to-day administrative support. The successful candidate will have outstanding communication and organizational skills and have the ability to work autonomously. Our company is 100% remote. We will never ask you to come to an office. The position will start at 5 – 10 hours a week (more as the company grows and needs to evolve).

 

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES (40% of job)- Provide administrative support to Executive Team using Microsoft Office products:

  • Schedule appointments for virtual meetings and ensure all personal and business meetings are on the calendar.
  • Respond to and screen calls, emails, and requests of Executive Team.
  • Submit invoices and payables into Accounting Programs, ensuring all payments and reports are completed within an established time frame.
  • Ensure bills are paid on time.
  • Ensures filing systems (both personal and business) are up-to-date and maintained for effective and efficient use.
  • Make travel arrangements as needed.
  • Order Supplies and logo items

SOCIAL MEDIA DUTIES (60% of job)- Act as liaison between Executive Team to implement, coordinate efforts and track progress in implementing digital and marketing strategies:

  • Coordinate social media and community management.
  • Track and report digital/social media usage metrics.
  • Manage social media content calendar. We currently use BOMA for posts to LinkedIn and Facebook.
  • Update and post information on digital media including website, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, google ads and other relevant platforms
  • Create and manage newsletter campaigns using MailChimp.
  • Develop and execute an effective social media strategy to enhance the company's brand visibility, engagement, and reputation across various social media platforms.
  • Build relationships with industry influencers to expand the company's reach and enhance the brand's credibility.

·         Knowledge of marketing on-line tools (i.e. Canva, Photoshop, Google Analytics,)

·         Experience and knowledge of current digital trends and social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube), etc.

We are looking for someone that has the willingness to grow. If you don’t have a lot of experience don’t be afraid to apply.  At the end of the day, we are looking for someone that is passionate. We are on Eastern Time so you will need to be able to have meetings in that time zone, but other than that you can work at any time as long as the work gets done by the deadlines.

ABOUT US

We are a small accounting firm mainly focusing on bookkeeping and month-end closing for small to medium businesses. We are looking to expand our services and build our client base and increase our online presence.
