Customer Service Specialist

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform data entry tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Process orders including managing ship dates, expedited requests, complaints/questions, and necessary follow-up information.
  • Handle mostly email communication through a queue system; anyone can take an order, with larger customers managed by a supervisor.
  • Work with customers and the sales team to coordinate orders.
  • Arrange freight delivery as requested.
  • Assist with various requests such as invoices, reports, shipping paperwork, and any other order-related information.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the company's products.


What you need to succeed:

  • Experience in B2B customer service.
  • Strong software skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (experience with Great Plains is a plus, but not required).
  • Excellent communication skills, primarily via email.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
