Document Imaging Specialist Temp- Human Resources 8-Hour Day Shift

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Organize physical and digital documents according to established filing system.
  • Scan various documents into the HRIS system or other systems, as applicable
  • Box documents/files for storage upon completion.
  • Retrieve requested documents, as needed.
  • Assist in file audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of scanned documents.
  • Troubleshoot scanning issues.
  • Perform basic clerical tasks including photocopying, scanning and filing.
  • Keep files and cabinets free from unnecessary clutter.
  • Reports on any equipment and or environmental issues for repair.
  • Acts with a sense of urgency when performing tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in an office setting scanning documents.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, strong organizational skills, ability to follow verbal instructions, and PC (computer) skills.
  • A capacity to learn, synthesize, make critical judgments, work independently, place patients and families first, and collaborate with the team members who are recognized leaders within health care.
