Bilingual Human Resource Coordinator needed for full time, Direct Hire position in Oceanside, CA Compensation $25.00-$30.00/hr. D.O.E

Job Title: Bilingual Human Resource Coordinator

Job Summary: As a Human Resource Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the HR team in executing various administrative tasks related to recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, training, and compliance. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining accurate employee records, coordinating HR processes, and ensuring the implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
  • Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks.
  • Conduct New Employee Orientation (NEO) for new hires.
  • Conducts audits of payroll, benefits, workers comp or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
  • Assists with processing of terminations and other changes in status reports.
  • Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
  • Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
  • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the director of HR.
  • Makes photocopies; mails, scan, and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
  • Files documents into appropriate employee files.
  • Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
  • Prepares new-employee files.
  • Processes mail. Monitor HR email and ensure a 24-hour response time.
  • Punctuality and Attendance are important.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • AA or BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Must be bilingual fluent in Spanish and English (read and write).
  • 1+yrs. previous experience in HR administration or coordination role preferred.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment, typically Monday to Friday during regular business hours.
  • Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods or for special projects.
  • Interaction with employees, managers, and external vendors on a regular basis.
