Maintenace Tech Needed for Great Company

Shift: Monday - Friday

Pay: $18-26 Depending on Experience

Essential Job Functions Include:

  • Perform task to keep buildings and grounds in orderly, neat, clean condition.
  • Perform task to maintain buildings and grounds in a safe and operable condition.
  • Maintain motors and other mechanical equipment and ensure that such equipment receives scheduled servicing.
  • Inspect equipment and facilities; recommend any and all repair or replacements to supervisor.
  • Prepare and maintain records to document work and repairs as requested.

Equipment:

  • Uses hand tools of trade and related power equipment, including saws, drills, routers, planers, sanders, jointers, and stationary power equipment.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

  • Knowledge of fundamental tools
  • Knowledge of maintenance procedures and building code conformance standards in the carpentry, plumbing, and electrical trades.
  • Ability to follow oral and written work orders from supervisor, and coordinate work with others.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure.
  • Ability to describe orally or in writing maintenance or repair problems as needed.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve any electrical or electricity issue.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff and other contracted in the course of work.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Clean MVR
  • Experience in building and grounds maintenance

Must have clean MVR - Frequent in town travel may be required.

Ability to withstand heights and work in crawl spaces. Occasional work in poor weather conditions including, heat / Cold / Rain / Snow
