Grocery Point of Sale Installer

AM/PM Systems, a dynamic company, is seeking a skilled individual to join our Long Island NY and surrounding areas team as a Grocery Store POS Systems Installation/Support Specialist. This position plays a crucial role in our grocery store team, focusing on implementing and supporting POS technology products for our customer base. The ideal candidate will excel in multitasking, collaboration, and execution, maintaining high standards and work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritizes proactive and responsive communication with clients across various channels, including phone, email and in-person interactions, to ensure their needs are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Develop expertise in Point of Sale (POS) systems, encompassing both hardware and software components through internal training and documentation.
- Prioritizes the cultivation and maintenance of positive relationships with clients, recognizing their importance in fostering loyalty, trust, and satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues, meticulously updating our internal ticketing system to track progress and resolutions.
- Employ remote customer support tools proficiently to maintain high levels of support for our clients, ensuring efficient troubleshooting and resolution of issues.
- Collaborates effectively with vendors and manufacturers to ensure timely and effective support for clients, leveraging external expertise and resources as needed.

- Excellent communication skills, conveying ideas, information, and instructions clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
- Utilizes time-management techniques to allocate time appropriately, ensuring tasks are completed within deadlines and commitments are met.
- Displays a strong willingness to collaborate with team members, recognizing the value of teamwork in achieving common goals and objectives.
- Demonstrates proactive problem-solving skills by anticipating potential issues and implementing preemptive measures to mitigate risks.

- Demonstrates empathy and patience while actively listening to customer feedback, ensuring that their concerns are fully understood and acknowledged.
- Availability for overnight travel.
Assets:
- Previous experience in a grocery store environment.
- POS, SCO, ESL and/or Microsoft Certifications.
