Advocacy Supervisor

As a Supervisor for our VerusPath department, you will be responsible for the operational efficiency of your team. This team serves as our patient members' advocate, guiding them through our savings strategies to obtaining medications in a cost-effective and timely manner. You will provide oversight for your assigned team on the administration of these savings programs in an organized and efficient manner, meeting operational KPIs, and ensuring member and client satisfaction.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Directly manage, coach, and mentor a team of advocates and coordinators whose primary responsibility is to implement VerusPath savings strategies.
- Lead training and onboarding for all new team members.
- Provide day-to-day supervision, support, and an escalation path for your team.
- Manage team to meet target KPIs associated with our advocacy program.
- Ensure efficient allocation of operational center resources and maintain high performance standards.
- Identify and drive areas for operational process improvements to support scale.
- Cross-functional collaboration with other departments.
- Demonstrated success in a supervisory role, preferably in PBM or other similar setting, previous experience with patient advocacy is a plus.
- Must have genuine empathy for patients' needs and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Proficiency in analyzing data and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- High school diploma, post high school education preferred.
- Experience working at a fast-growing startup is a plus.
- Must be able to commute to our Dallas office Monday – Friday.
