We are looking for full-time Kinship Supervisor to add to our team All you need is to meet the minimum qualifications for a Child Placement Management staff according to Texas Minimum Standards to include the following:
  • (A) A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; and nine credit hours in undergraduate or graduate level courses that focus on family and individual function and interaction.
  • (B) Three years of documented full-time experience in a residential child-care operation, or as a conservatorship caseworker or foster adoptive home development worker for the department. The experience must be in conducting assessments, service planning, or case management duties.


A Day in The Life as a Kinship Supervisor

As a Kinship Supervisor you will supervise the Kinship Specialists and/or Family Finders. Promotes the safety, permanency, and well-being of children and youth while in DFPS conservatorship and who have been placed with a kinship caregiver. The Kinship Specialists provides support to kinship children and families that advocates and promotes their need to reach permanency. Seeks to identify relative connections for children who are placed in foster care. .
