At Burrell Communications, we are seeking an Account Supervisor who will serve as the strategic linchpin, cultivating and strengthening client relationships through expert marketing acumen and judicious resource management. This pivotal role is both a conductor and a visionary, orchestrating daily operations and aligning internal teams with client objectives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years in account management, showcasing flexibility and adeptness in an integrated agency setting. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Strategic Leadership: Steering client projects with sharp strategic insight, maintaining the trajectory of service delivery from start to finish.
  • Holistic Relationship Management: Building and sustaining dynamic relationships across the spectrum, managing timelines, and ensuring the delivery of account project deliverables with the support of the Group Account Director/Account Director. This includes leading meetings and setting clear expectations for follow-up actions.
  • Industry Savvy: Staying ahead of the curve by deeply understanding industry trends, client businesses, and products, thereby becoming a key participant in strategic conversations.
  • Interdisciplinary Coordination: Collaborating with Strategy, Creative, and Production teams to ensure a unified approach to client work, maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of the end product.
  • Thought Leadership: Crafting and disseminating points of view on pertinent topics in partnership with stakeholders, ensuring all relevant teams are aligned and informed.
  • Project Orchestration: Managing multiple projects with finesse, preserving the strategic and creative vision from concept through to execution.
  • Advocacy and Integrity: Working closely with account teams to navigate project deliverables and budget constraints, proactively addressing challenges with innovative solutions, while fervently representing and defending the agency's creative and strategic decisions.

  • A proactive self-starter, adept at thriving in dynamic settings.
  • Exceptional multitasking capabilities, efficiently juggling diverse tasks with fluctuating priorities.
  • Stellar communication and presentation proficiency.
  • Proficient in computer operations and associated software applications.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or Advertising.
  • 3 years of relevant experience in Advertising, Media, or Marketing. Expertise in Media, Tech, and Data is an advantage.
  • An analytical mindset to discern challenges, collate data, and formulate actionable insights.
  • Aptitude for crafting comprehensive reports and regular correspondence.
  • Prior experience with multicultural brand engagements is preferred.
  • African American and/or Multicultural marketing and advertising experience, and an understanding of African American, and Gen Z audience.
