Randy Scritchfield and Associates, located in Damascus, MD, is an established and still growing retirement and financial planning practice which currently has a Senior Advisor and Associate Advisor. This individual will be a member of the experienced support staff team who is primarily responsible for supporting all Advisors and clients. Although each advisor has a unique approach and solution for their clients, the overall firm is focused on providing a high level of client satisfaction.

 

Position Overview/Summary

The Administrative Associate role is an important role who will primarily support our advisors and be responsible for a variety of office operational items. This is a perfect role for the person who understands and appreciates the importance of providing a high level of service and support to both clients and co-workers.  Since we are a boutique firm providing specialized services for our clients, we all have diverse roles and responsibilities, thus a genuine attitude of helping the overall firm and clients is essential. There may be other responsibilities that fall to this person’s workload including account service work and other clerical responsibilities.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

-     Handle daily office activities to ensure smooth office operations, including standard clerical duties

-     Work closely with all Advisors in the overall support of our clients

-     Proactively communicate with Advisors regarding work in progress and prospective pipeline

-     Establish working relationships with clients…in an efficient and timely manner

 -    Provide assistance to other team members when needed

 

Qualifications:

-     High School Diploma (minimum)

-     Financial services experience preferred but not required

-     Reliable, Dependable and willing to Embrace teamwork with a positive mindset

-     People oriented; service minded

-     Strong written and verbal communication

-     Proficient in Word, Excel and CRM software

-     Understanding of compliance and adherence to all regulations and policies

-    Capable of self-managing to complete tasks

-  Willingness to learn new capabilities and expand in position
