Job DescriptionJob Description

Job Requirements:

  • Must have their own tools
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Technical/Trade School Certification - Minimum of 2 years’ experience in equipment maintenance and Basic Service Technical Certification preferred
  • The ability to lift at least 75lbs repeatedly
  • Computer skills such as navigating company's business system, dealer parts and service portals
  • Good communication skills - Must be able to compose/send e-mails. Basic writing skills that include proper grammar/spelling. Ability to interpret parts/service manuals.
  • Valid Mississippi State driver's license

Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

  • Small engine repair (2cycle/4cycle engines)
  • Assembly & reconditioning of residential and commercial zero-turn mowers, trimmers, chain saws, edgers and blowers.
  • Perform diagnostic inspections as directed - identify the cause of failure, determine the correct course of repair and acquire the proper tools and parts needed to accomplish the repair.
  • Perform set-up and pre-delivery inspections for new or used equipment
  • Maintain good working records for time/parts/supplies during repairs
  • Maintain the work area in a clean and safe condition.
