FDRsafety is seeking a Site Safety Representative to oversee a 6-week construction project in Clarksville, TN. This position is expected to operate on a Monday-Friday dayshift Schedule for 40 hours/week with the potential for overtime. This individual will be responsible for providing toolbox talks, site walkthroughs, inspections, auditing, assisting, and advising management of their findings daily for a single site location.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Management, or related field preferred.
- BCSP certification (ASP, CHST, or CSP) or similar certification preferred.
- Candidates must have an OSHA 30 Hour in Construction Certification.
- Candidates must have a First-Aid/CPR/AED certificate.
- Candidates should have 5+ years of construction safety experience as a lead with the proven ability to identify workable solutions to eliminate hazards.
- Strong background in constructions procedures and processes.
- Experience with developing and facilitating safety training.
- Experience managing safety on large, complex projects.
