Impact Dock Works Inc., a premier provider of loading dock construction and equipment installation services, is seeking a skilled Manager for our Equipment Installation Team. If you have a background in equipment installation, welding, or electrical work combined with proven leadership skills, we invite you to apply for this pivotal position.

About the Role:

As the Manager of the Equipment Installation Team, you will oversee the daily operations of our installation crew, ensuring that all projects are executed with precision and safety. Your leadership will ensure that our team not only meets but exceeds the expectations for quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the equipment installation team’s daily activities and ensure all members are effectively utilized.

  • Oversee the quality and safety of all installations, maintaining the highest industry standards.

  • Ensure all necessary materials are procured and delivered to job sites on time.

  • Address any onsite issues promptly and provide solutions to maintain project timelines.

  • Confirm that all crew members are present, prepared, and supported in their roles.

  • Train and mentor new and existing team members, enhancing their skills and promoting career growth.

  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages safety and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in equipment installation with a solid understanding of welding and electrical practices.

  • Previous leadership experience managing teams, ideally in a construction or industrial setting.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities to handle operational challenges.

  • Strong communication skills for coordinating between team members and other departments.

  • A commitment to upholding safety standards and conducting regular safety trainings.

  • Reliable transportation to travel to various job sites as needed.
