Position: Director of Service Delivery

Reports To: President & CEO

Location: Connecticut/Hartford, local please, relocation not available. On-site, minimal hybrid.

Role Overview: As the Director of Service Delivery, you will be pivotal in developing and executing business-oriented, data-driven solutions. You will lead a team of consultants to deliver change management, workforce development, continuous improvement, quality and compliance, top-line growth, and technology adoption solutions, empowering small and medium-sized manufacturers in Connecticut.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Assist in creating and implementing service delivery strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Leadership: Lead and develop a team of internal Consultants and external partners in delivering top-notch solutions, including Cyber Security, Continuous Improvement, Quality, Workforce Development, Environment Health & Safety, and Advanced Technology.
  • Operational Excellence: Enhance client experiences through process and system improvements and manage all performance levers to ensure timely, on-budget project completion.
  • Strategic Grant Management: Develop and execute proactive grant management programs to maximize the impact of federal and state funding.
  • Operations Management: Oversee service delivery operations, ensuring superior client experiences and establishing governance processes with KPIs for program utilization.
  • Consulting Services: Provide strategic consulting services to key accounts as needed.
  • Service Delivery Tools: Lead the implementation of sales and delivery platforms, including customer account portals, marketing automation, and CRM tools.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of ten years of successful experience in strategic business implementation in consulting, service provider, or manufacturing settings. Experience with firms of various sizes and industries preferred.
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline is required. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Leadership Skills: High-level interpersonal communication skills, team leadership, and problem-solving capabilities are essential.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of financial measurements, organizational development, change management, and manufacturing industry knowledge.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and Minitab and previous experience with Salesforce or similar solutions.
