About Us:

From the time Air-Con began manufacturing valves in 1969, it has been committed to building robust, high quality valves. This commitment has made Air-Con a leading supplier of control valves for air compressors, specializing in valves for rotary screw compressors.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team and oversee the maintenance of our air-con valves. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and functionality of our valves through regular inspections, repairs, and replacements. This is a full-time position that requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills.

 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular preventive maintenance on air-con valves to ensure their optimum performance and longevity.

• Troubleshoot and identify any issues or malfunctions with the valves and implement solutions in a timely manner.

• Repair and replace damaged or malfunctioning components of valves, including motors, belts, bearings, and electrical systems.

• Conduct safety checks and testing on valves to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any problems or concerns to the maintenance supervisor.

• Collaborate with other team members to carry out larger maintenance projects and ensure timely completion.

• Keep up-to-date with new technologies and best practices in maintenance to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification in a relevant field is preferred.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

• Knowledge of HVAC systems and air-con valves.

• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and diagrams.

• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Basic understanding of workplace safety guidelines and protocols.

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

 Salary: $26,000 to $40,000 yearly
