Remedy is excited to partner with a well-established manufacturer in Erie, PA as they seek to welcome a skilled Maintenance Technician to their 2nd shift team This Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plant machinery, equipment, and facilities. Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Type: Full-time/Direct Hire

Shift: 2nd

Pay: $22-30/hour, depending upon prior experience

Primary responsibilities for this Shift Supervisor will include:

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment problems/failures; identify problems on injection molding equipment and provide corrective actions.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and unscheduled maintenance as needed
  • Repair and maintain building, grounds, and facility.
  • Maintain maintenance records.
  • Support ongoing process improvement initiatives to improve operations, workplace layout, and increase efficiency.
  • Advise management when procedures are not adequate and need review.
  • Put safety first, which includes always following all OSHA safety standards.

We're actively seeking skilled industrial Maintenance professionals with the following background profile:

  • HS diploma/GED is required. Additional training/certifications through an accredited trade school or Associate's degree program is preferred
  • 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting is required; Plastics/injection molding background strongly preferred
  • Must have a working knowledge of injection molding operations and maintenance practices
  • Must have excellent electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and system controls troubleshooting experience
  • Must be able to interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Must have good math, communication, and computer skills.
