Farinella LLC — a creative communications agency based in Emeryville, CA — seeks a versatile social media manager with five-plus years of experience who’s comfortable with big thinking and kicking ass.

We look for social media folks who think strategically and creatively, can deliver effective posts across all platforms (we have a fair amount of B2B clients), and are comfortable working in wildly different industries. We expect our social media people to have a perspective, and we want them to bring fresh ideas to the table.

Long story short, we need you to be nimble, smart, creative, and good.

While working with us, you’ll

  • collaborate with our internal team — creative director, designer, digital nerd

  • interface with clients for ideas and feedback

  • research, write, and deliver posts across all platforms

  • integrate with our broader communications strategy

  • deliver posts that are strategic and engaging

  • engage with online communities in the voice of our clients

  • follow the analytics and adjust as necessary

  • translate analytics into learnings for our clients

  • dive into our client's business

  • monitor the social media landscape to ensure we’re delivering the best results for our clients

and we expect that you’ll be able to

  • balance creativity with strategy

  • produce clean, emotional, and captivating copy

  • have a point of view about what works and can back it up

  • balance multiple client accounts at once

  • have a favorite donut

  • keep learning

  • buy into the spirit of partnership

The Nitty Gritty

  • five-plus years of social media management experience

  • able to own the entire process from concept to delivery to analytics

  • able to translate messaging into copy on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.

  • experience with influencers a plus

  • strong collaborative skills and a good attitude

  • organized, self-starter, and all that blah-blah-blah
