knowledge of electronic health records and integration systems

check eligibility of insurance, change of PCP if needed, collect copays and balances

confirm and schedule patient appointments

check in / check out of patients

collecting and scanning of all needed documents into patient health records

taking detailed messages

enter immunizations into charts

basic knowledge of immunization schedule

prepare referrals, lab slips, and other patient forms

request patient records from other medical facilities

assist medical insurances and medical organizations with patient coordination

maintain update EHR data, demographics, ID and insurance cards, office policies, and other forms

assist with inventory and ordering of office supplies

participate in yearly certification for Vaccine for children

understanding of PCI for use of credit card machines
