Medical Assistant

MATClinics is a rapidly expanding network of office-based outpatient treatment centers dedicated to providing comprehensive care for individuals struggling with substance use disorders. We are actively seeking dynamic and team-oriented Medical Assistants to join our dedicated staff in the Greater Baltimore Area. The responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, including patient greeting, appointment scheduling, insurance eligibility confirmation, managing heavy phone volume, handling patient payments, and undertaking traditional Medical Assistant duties such as vitals, urine collection, pre-appointment interviews, and pre-charting.

Position Requirements:

• Your employment offer is dependent upon the successful completion of a background check, a urine drug test, and proof of influenza vaccinations, unless you provide a documented medical or religious exemption.
• High School graduate with at least one (1) year of experience in a medical office setting
• One (1) year Medical Assistant experience in corresponding setting is preferred
• Strong computer literacy and experience with browser based EHRs
• Every Saturday and evening shifts are required
• Traveling to all the Greater Baltimore Area locations is required( Dundalk, Laurel, Towson, Annapolis, Havre De Grace, Westminster)
• Valid driver's license/ Access to a personal vehicle to access our different offices
• Capable of working in a busy and sometimes stressful environment

Job Type: Part Time/ Full time

Salary: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
