Job Duties:

  • Responsible for post-silicon lab activities related to System Validation of x86-64 architecture.
  • Key responsibilities include:
    • Setup and configure x86 platforms.
    • Develop and execute server system validation test plans (Operating Systems, Virtualization Environment, System Stress Applications).
    • Support lab debug activities.

Experience and Education:

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Good understanding of:
    • x86 and server system architecture.
    • Operating systems, device drivers, and BIOS ACPI.
  • Experience with scripting and server automation tools (Ruby, Python, Perl, Ansible, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Preferred OS requirements:
    • Install, set-up, configure, and troubleshoot MS Windows OS, Linux OS.
    • Knowledge of x86 software and virtualization (VMware, Xen, KVM).
    • Strong understanding of virtualization environments, including SRIOV (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V, Xen).
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Good organizational skills to plan, prioritize, and manage assigned workload, efficiently executing multiple projects
