Ten Thousand Pots in Spring Branch - San Antonio, TX is looking for one assistant manager to join our growing team. We are located on 4510 US-281N, Spring Branch TX 78070. We offer the largest selection of high-end ceramic planters in Texas to landscapers, homeowners and commercial projects. Our ideal candidate is attentive, positive, ambitious, and hard-working.

Base wage $19-$24 per hour plus commission from the sale of the store. Full time 40 hours a week

Responsibilities

  • Train, coach, and develop employees
  • Conduct inventory count
  • Delegate tasks to team and provide follow-up
  • Hold team accountable for their performance; provide coaching and counseling as needed
  • Ensure team provides fast, friendly, and accurate service
  • Ensure product quality, store cleanliness, maintenance safety shopping environment
  • Schedule staff appropriately to control labor costs
  • Ensure appropriate inventory and ordering systems are in place

Qualifications

  • At least 2 year of leadership experience in a retail or customer service setting is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers and co-workers
  • Possess a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, customer-focused
  • Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
  • Familiarity with basic retail computer systems and related POS software is beneficial.
  • Bilingual Abilities: Being bilingual (especially in Spanish) is preferred
