Responsibilities:

-Set up and operate plastic injection molding machines to produce high-quality parts

- Assemble and inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications - Use coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to perform dimensional inspections

- Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize production efficiency

- Operate forklifts to transport materials and finished products

- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and bore gauges to perform machining tasks

- Assist with tooling changes and maintenance as needed - Perform welding tasks as required

Provide services and products to industrial providers. Services include: piping, HVAC & refrigeration, machine shop, field service, work with industrial provider (Lots of repair, maintenance to their equipment)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Sets up and operates manually controlled machines (lathe, mills, grinders) in skilled precision and bench work in the fabrication, maintenance, repair and alteration of machinery, machine parts, tools and equipment.

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Must take a plate test will be given, includes:

  • (1) horizontal and (1) vertical test piece.
  • 3/8" thick plate with an open root.
  • Pieces will only be visually inspected.

Skills:

- Proficient in operating plastic injection molding machines

- Strong knowledge of machining techniques and processes

- Familiarity with coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and their operation

- Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment is preferred

- Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment

- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and bore gauges for machining tasks

- Basic welding skills are a plus

This position requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of plastics injection molding processes and possess the technical skills necessary to produce high-quality parts.
