Manual Machinist: 

Manual Machinist:  Operation of manual lathes, milling machines and/or CNC lathes/mills.  Read and comprehend blueprints, schematics, diagrams, or technical orders to determine methods and sequences of operations.  

Requirements

Job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain. Wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses at all times), respirator when required. Able to work 8 -10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, and overtime as required.. Includes crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching, able to routinely lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds and pushing and pulling of objects is required. Repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers.

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Good attendance and punctuality required
• 2+ years of machining experience in a manufacturing or repair environment operating manual lathes, milling machines, or CNC lathes/mills.
• Sets up and operates manually controlled machines (lathe, mills, grinders) in skilled precision and bench work in the fabrication, maintenance, repair and alteration of machinery, machine parts, tools and equipment.
• The right candidate will have at least 3 years of manual machining and fabrication experience, have a positive attitude, and a will to learn and carry our various daily jobs activities as needed.
• Must be self-motivated and willing to work from descriptions and blue prints
• Must have a good attitude and be willing to work with other craftsmen
• Must be hard working and have the drive and determination to complete the task at hand
• Must be dependable and willing to complete the project at hand from start to finish
