Mack & Schuhle, a premier wine & spirits importer in the US, is seeking an enthusiastic talent to promote our premium portfolio in NY & NJ. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, our products are designed to celebrate every moment. This role is crucial for driving our brand’s presence and sales, both in on-trade (bars, restaurants, hotels) and off-trade (retail stores, liquor shops) channels, as well as through dynamic events and brand activations.Key Responsibilities:

- On-Trade Sales & Promotion: Develop and maintain strong relationships with on-trade customers, including bars, restaurants, and hotels. Implement strategic sales plans to increase product visibility and consumption within these venues.

- Off-Trade Sales & Promotion: Enhance product placement and visibility in off-trade channels such as retail stores and liquor shops. Work closely with retail partners to optimize shelf space, promotional displays, and customer engagement strategies.

- Events & Brand Activation: Plan and execute impactful brand activations and events that effectively communicate brand values and product uniqueness to both trade partners and consumers. This includes organizing tastings, sponsorships, and participation in industry events to boost brand awareness and engagement.

- Market Analysis & Strategy Implementation: Conduct market analysis to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Use insights to tailor sales and marketing strategies for both on-trade and off-trade channels.

- Educational Initiatives: Lead educational sessions for trade partners and consumers to enhance their knowledge and appreciation of our wine and liquor portfolio. Provide training and support to on-trade and off-trade staff, ensuring brand messages are consistently communicated.

- Portfolio Advocacy: Serve as the expert and advocate for Mack & Schuhle Inc.’s wine and liquor portfolio, leveraging product knowledge to build brand loyalty and encourage repeat business.

- Relationship Management: Build and maintain lasting relationships with key stakeholders across on-trade and off-trade channels, as well as event organizers, to ensure continued business growth and brand presence.

- Feedback & Reporting: Collect and report feedback from all activities to inform future sales strategies and product developments. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of promotions, activations, and sales efforts to continuously improve performance.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in sales (5 years), within the wine and liquor industry, with a strong understanding of both on-trade and off-trade channels.

- Dynamic presentation and communication skills, capable of engaging and influencing a diverse audience.

- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and events simultaneously.

- Knowledge of wine and liquor, with a passion for sharing this knowledge with others.

- Must be at least 21 years of age, hold a valid driver’s license, and be willing to travel frequently within the New York and New Jersey area.

- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to support events, tastings, and promotional activities.
