Estimator - Project Manager

The Estimator / Project Manager will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing project plans, specifications, and other documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers, architects, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Prepare takeoffs and present bid proposals to clients and stakeholders.
- Examine Online platforms to find possible projects to bid, review addendums or RFI's.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, project managers and other team members to ensure project success.
- Provide scope review, technical assistance.
- Generate a list of bidders when required.
- Maintain and update project list reports.
- Communicate with customers and manage project through manufacturing and shipping.
- Write RFI's, generate substitution request when required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator, project manager or similar role for a minimum of 2 years in a similar role or field of work
- Strong understanding of construction processes and project management.
- Ability to read and discern Architectual and structural plans.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with Bluebeam and Microsoft Suite, proficiency in Excel a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or other relevant certification is a plus.
