Pay Rate: $55-65/hr
Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join on of our clients' Development Sciences Team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust non-clinical scientific background and be well-versed in scientific and technical project workflows. This role involves managing diverse projects related to DMPQ, Process Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, and Drug Development. The Project Manager will also be responsible for resource analytics projects, identifying supplemental funding opportunities projects, and developing strategies to enhance project leadership effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Oversee and manage projects related to DMPQ, Process Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, and Drug Development.
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely completion of project milestones.
Scientific and Technical Understanding:
- Apply scientific knowledge to support and guide process development and optimization.
- Facilitate effective communication between scientific teams and stakeholders.
- Address technical challenges and propose solutions to streamline workflows.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of project processes, outcomes, and learnings.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a non-clinical scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, etc.).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within a pharmaceutical or related scientific field.
- Technical Skills: Proven experience with scientific and technical workflows
- Project Management: Strong skills in project planning, execution, and resource management.
- Leadership and Strategy: Experience in developing and implementing strategies to improve project leadership and team effectiveness.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
