Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:

  • Pay Structure: $17.00/hour & $19.00/hour for Bilingual (Weekly)
  • Job Type: Full-time ONLY / 40 hours per week
  • Job Status: Contract-to-Hire
  • Schedule After Training: 8-hour shift between 7:00am and 7:00pm. Saturdays will be included as part of the work schedule.
  • Must pass background and drug screen.

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative include, but are not limited to:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

· Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner

· Provide accurate information about products, services, and policies to customers

· Maintain customer records by updating account information and documenting interactions

· Follow communication scripts and guidelines to ensure consistent and effective customer service

· Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and team goals

· Interfaces with customers to process account maintenance queries, complaints, answer questions about our program and collections process.

· Assists with resolving violations, receives and processes payments, updates invoices, and interfaces with other divisions and departments regarding violations. This also includes, but is not limited to, performing daily collector/administrative duties and utilizing negotiation techniques to resolve escalated accounts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Must be available to work a flexible schedule.

· Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times.

· Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and strong de-escalation skills.

· Ability to work independently and be resolution driven.

· Data entry/typing speed of at least 35 correct words per minute.

· Excellent telephone, written, and verbal communications skills.

· At least 2 years (preferred) of previous experience in a call center or customer service role

· Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

· Proficient in using computer systems and software applications

 

JOB TYPE: Full-time, Contract

SALARY: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
