Currently seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer for a leading manufacturer of industrial equipment in the Chicagoland area (Roselle, and Franklin Park). An ideal candidate is someone with 2+ years of experience within Electrical or Controls engineering roles, programming PLCs/HMIs and designing with AutoCAD Electrical

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, computer engineering or related roles.
    • Open to associates degrees as well.
  • 2+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, Controls Engineer, Automation Engineer or related roles.
  • Experience programming PLCs/HMIs, they use Allen Bradley 
  • Experience designing with AutoCAD Electrical. 
    • Control panels, electrical schematics, and skids.

Nice to Haves:

  • Design experience with AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks Electrical.
  • Experience designing automation and control systems.
  • Experience designing panels from scratch in AutoCAD Electrical.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Designing in AutoCAD Electrical and SolidWorks
    • Electrical skids, schematics, and control panel systems/layouts.
    • Also, modifications of schematics.
  • PLC programming, HMI programming 
  • 30%of the work will be working on systems engineering, testing, and project management.
