Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Control Systems Engineer to join our Product Engineering team at M-Works Search. As a key member of our team, you will design and maintain electrical control systems and PLC logic for our engineered-to-order machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and review electrical control systems for all product lines, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Prepare schematic wiring diagrams using AutoCAD and develop PLC logic programs for heat transfer equipment.
  • Select components to meet customer specifications and code requirements, ensuring efficient and safe operation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products, improve processes, and reduce scrap.
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance remotely or on-site, and maintain UL files and records.
  • Write technical documents and operating instructions, and mentor and train field service personnel and junior engineers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical background.
  • 2 years of experience with PLC programming (Siemens and Allen-Bradley).
  • 3-5 years of electrical engineering experience, with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, with experience with SolidWorks a plus.
  • Knowledge of ASME Section VIII codes and standards is preferred.
