We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Teacher for our 2-Year-Old Class to join our growing team. Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate, engaging, and developmentally appropriate lesson plans, activities, and experiences for the 2-Year-Old Class, in accordance with Children's Land's curriculum guidelines.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that fosters the emotional, cognitive, social, and physical development of each child.
  • Regularly assess and document each child's progress and development, providing feedback to parents and colleagues as needed.
  • Establish and maintain positive and open communication with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment for all children.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and parent-teacher conferences as required.
  • Comply with all state and local licensing regulations, as well as Children's Land's policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Center Director.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of the developmental milestones and needs of 2-year-old children.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
  • Satisfactory background check and reference checks.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, as needed.
