Job DescriptionJob Description

At Children's Land, we believe in nurturing the potential of every child from their earliest days. With a focus on providing a safe, stimulating, and loving environment, our dedicated team works tirelessly to cater to the individual needs of each infant in our care. We pride ourselves on creating a home away from home where infants can grow, explore, and learn in the arms of caregivers who are as passionate about their development as their families are.

As an Infant Caregiver at Children's Land, you will play a pivotal role in the lives of our youngest learners. This position requires a compassionate, attentive, and dedicated individual who is passionate about providing care and facilitating developmental milestones in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, nurturing care to infants, including feeding, changing diapers, naptime, and playtime.
  • Develop and implement daily routines that ensure a healthy balance of rest, play, and developmental activities.
  • Monitor and document each child's developmental progress, identifying any potential concerns and addressing them in partnership with parents and Children's Land's early childhood specialists.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment that meets or exceeds state licensing requirements and Children's Land's standards.
  • Communicate effectively with parents on a daily basis, offering updates on their child's day, developmental progress, and any notable moments or needs.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current on best practices in infant care and early childhood education.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a CDA (Child Development Associate) certification or equivalent. Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of infant development and milestones, as well as health and safety guidelines for childcare.
  • CPR and First Aid certified, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
  • Exceptional nurturing skills, patience, and a love for working with infants.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with parents, children, and colleagues.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plan.
  • A supportive team environment that values growth, learning, and collaboration.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career advancement within Children's Land.
  • The joy of making a profound difference in the lives of infants and their families.
