Security Systems- CCTV/ Access Control/ Low Voltage Cabling
Job Description:
Installing and servicing Electronic Surveillance Systems, Access Control Systems and Low Voltage Cabling and Intercom Equipment; verifying system performance; and maintaining records.

Duties include but not limited to:
Prepare for security system installations by reviewing installation orders, gathering equipment, supplies, and tools. Providing timelines and estimates.
Plans security system installations by surveying and evaluating location; identifying security system installation requirements; laying-out equipment and wiring plan.
Build a communication room IDF/MDF with equipment racks and cable management. Build out an Access Control Panel and Power Supply.
Establishes new security systems by installing equipment; running and pulling wiring; programming equipment; adhering to codes, regulations, and standards.
Verifies security system are functioning by testing equipment, connections, and signals, identifying and correcting problems.
Maintains records by documenting installation.
Maintains customer rapport by resolving concerns, answering questions.
Maintains safe and secure work environment by following safe practices, keeping security information confidential.
Trouble Shooting Skills, Equipment Maintenance, Functional and Technical Skills, Action Oriented, Estimating, Verbal Communication, Computer/Network skills.
Candidates must possess the following:

OSHA10
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must be able communicate with client and co- workers.
Must be able to pass a NY State required background check.
Must have a neat and clean appearance.
