As a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) at Steelville Senior Living, you will have a diverse and impactful role in our team. You will be responsible for administering medications to our residents, ensuring that they receive their prescribed treatments accurately and on time. Additionally, you will provide assistance to our Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in providing personalized care to our residents. Your expertise and attention to detail in medication administration will contribute to the overall well-being and comfort of our residents. To be successful as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) at Steelville Senior Living, there are several key skills and qualifications that are necessary. Firstly, you must have a current CMT certification, ensuring that you have the necessary knowledge and training to administer medications safely and effectively. Attention to detail is crucial, as you will be responsible for accurately documenting medication administration and ensuring that residents receive the correct dosage at the appropriate times. Strong communication skills are also essential, as you will be collaborating with the nursing team and working closely with residents to understand their individual needs and preferences. Additionally, the ability to prioritize and multitask is important, as you will be assisting Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) with resident care as needed.
