Job Description: We are seeking a versatile Shipping Specialist to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate shipment of our rare Honda parts while also maintaining the cleanliness and quality of our inventory. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for JDM automotive culture.

Responsibilities:

  1. Process incoming orders accurately and efficiently, including picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment.
  2. Package automotive parts securely to prevent damage during transit, utilizing appropriate packaging materials and techniques.
  3. Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely shipments to customers worldwide.
  4. Generate shipping labels, customs documentation, and other necessary paperwork for domestic and international shipments.
  5. Clean and inspect incoming parts to ensure they meet quality standards, utilizing appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.
  6. Perform basic parts cleaning tasks, such as degreasing, washing, and detailing, to restore parts to their original condition.
  7. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shipping and receiving area, including proper storage of inventory and disposal of waste materials.
  8. Collaborate with team to prioritize orders and resolve any shipping-related issues.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics, automotive technology, or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in shipping and logistics, preferably in the automotive industry or a similar field.
  • Familiarity with shipping software and systems, such as ShipStation, FedEx Ship Manager, or similar platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive parts and components is preferred.
  • Experience with parts cleaning techniques and equipment is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as needed, and to work efficiently in a warehouse environment.
  • Passion for JDM automotive culture and Honda vehicles is a plus.
