Responsibilities:
- Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, components, and services for manufacturing, with a focus on aerospace, hydraulic, pneumatic, and machined parts.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to understand procurement requirements and ensure the availability of necessary materials.
- Analyze and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and delivery standards.
- Utilize Microsoft 365, SAP, and other ERP systems to manage procurement processes, track orders, and maintain accurate records.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements related to procurement and supply chain.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement and supply chain functions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of work experience within procurement and supply chain in a manufacturing or operations environment.
- Strong knowledge of aerospace, hydraulic, pneumatic, and/or machined parts manufacturing and procurement requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, SAP, and other ERP systems.
- Excellent understanding of procurement and supply chain principles within a manufacturing or operations environment.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
