Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate all financial activities and personnel
  • Lead the accounting function with a focus on financial reporting and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Oversee the preparation of external financial reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance with GAAP, and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and align financial goals across departments.
  • Perform and oversee month/quarter/year end close and financial statement preparation and reporting
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the finance function.
  • Manage costing systems, ensuring accurate product cost analysis, inventory control, and cost allocation methodologies.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, regulatory agencies, and senior leadership

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience at a Manager/Supervisor level in Accounting 
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance or related
  • Large ERP systems experience, strong MS Excel
  • Must have Manufacturing industry experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
