Job Posting: Compensation & Talent Development Manager

Department: Human Resources

Role Status: New Role

Job Summary: Our client is seeking a dedicated Compensation & Talent Development Manager responsible for designing and implementing effective compensation strategies and talent development programs, including oversight for all remote locations. The ideal candidate will analyze market trends to maintain our competitive compensation structures and develop initiatives to boost employee engagement and performance.

Essential Duties:

  1. Act as a strategic HR Business Partner to company management and HR leadership, overseeing compensation and talent development strategies.
  2. Foster strong relationships between employer and employees.
  3. Analyze market compensation trends, design compensation strategies aligned with our goals, and ensure compliance and competitiveness.
  4. Support annual compensation planning, manage salary benchmarking, and oversee incentive programs.
  5. Develop talent programs to enhance employee growth and retention, identify training needs, and implement initiatives to bridge skill gaps.
  6. Enhance our performance management process, including goal setting, evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.
  7. Develop and implement initiatives to boost employee engagement, such as recognition programs and feedback mechanisms.
  8. Work with cross-functional teams to build a culture of appreciation and recognition.
  9. Monitor employee satisfaction and develop action plans for improvement.
  10. Participate in meetings, contribute to department goals, and recommend process improvements.
  11. Handle other duties as required or assigned.

Job Specifications:

  • Experience managing HR activities, especially around compensation and talent development, in a multi-location setting.
  • Strong problem-solving, project management, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent research skills with the ability to develop and recommend new practices.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in HRIS applications and Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with UKG Dimensions and UltiPro is a plus.
  • Leadership qualities include a high level of customer service, passion for creating solutions, and the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus but not required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Organizational Leadership, HR, or a relevant field preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a complex, multi-location environment.
  • Certifications such as CCP, SHRM-CP, or PHR preferred.

Working Climate: Primarily office-based with some visits to production operations. Occasional lifting may be required.
