SAVANT ENGINEERING IS SEEKING THE BEST OF THE BEST Is that you?
Savant is a dynamic efficiently growing, twenty-one-year-old, Veteran owned full-service
mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low voltage consulting Engineering Firm providing
services to clients throughout the United States. Savant Engineering is seeking career-minded,
proficient Senior Electrical Engineer who is enthusiastic, driven, and highly motivated, to join
our team in and around the Atlanta, GA area.
Our well-established company is passionate about what we do and the services we provide to
our customers. The right candidate will have the skills experience that will allow us to
maintain our outstanding reputation.
As the Electrical Department Head, you would be responsible for day-to-day management of
our team of Electrical Engineers in the company including PL, deadlines, project
assignment(s). Overseeing and supporting the work of the EE staff for quality control and will
sign as the EOR for many projects. Mentoring younger engineers by leading engineering
lunch learns, teaching sessions, answering questions, and providing design advice. Be the
lead designer and producer of several of your own projects – typically the more complicated
ones.  This position will have support in the production of work as well – you’ll do a fair bit of
production but will have the ability to hand some of the basic tasks to the novice level
engineers, as well as troubleshooting in a variety of work areas while paying close attention to
all aspects of quality and safety. Extensive client(s)/customer(s) contact in meetings, some
marketing efforts, and project management. Input as to the direction the electrical engineering
group goes as far as staffing, software, hardware, project types, and clients
Exceptional technical problem-solving skills are important for the Senior EE to identify
electrical project engineering issues and proceed with prompt corrections. Being able to
complete team setting and to complete objectives within a given timeframe is a must.
The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of electrical engineering
principles, and a drive to push the boundaries of technological advancements.
If you possess a “CAN DO” attitude in a field team environment…
If you have creative problem-solving skills and want to be part of the solution…
If you have a track record of completing highly successful projects….
We Need Your Expertise
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
 Electrical Design and Development: Create, review, and modify electrical designs for a
diverse range of projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, safety regulations,
and industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and
translate them into feasible electrical solutions.
 Project Planning and Management: Participate in project planning, estimate timelines, and
allocate resources effectively to ensure timely completion of tasks and successful project
delivery.

 Research and Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest technological advancements in
electrical engineering and contribute to the research and development of cutting-edge
solutions that enhance our companys capabilities.

 Documentation: Supervise the Creation of engineered construction documents and reports.

 Licensure as a Professional Engineer is a must.  Prefer with ability to become licensed in
all states (Electrical Engineering Degree, preferably not an Electrical Engineering

mine who owns his own company once said, “I can teach you the engineering, but I can’t
teach you to be a better person…”
 Proficient in AutoCad and Revit.
 Knowledge of E-Tap and or SKMTools is a plus, but not mandatory.
 Ability to mentor and train younger engineers and create an environment of trust,

the above, but a variety of project types is desired.
 Field experience: This could mean previous jobs as a maintenance tech while attending
college, extensive surveys for EE projects throughout career, or a side business wiring up
houses and equipment. We feel hands on experience provides insight that can’t be
achieved behind a desk. We want our engineers to observe fieldwork, so it makes them
better designers in order to provide drawings and support to projects for the built
environment.

 Projects are typically developed 75% in Revit, 25% in ACAD – depending on the project
type and the client.
