Audere Apartments is looking for a MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR like you to ensure the efficient operations, safety, and maintenance of our 220-unit, Class “A” luxury rental community in the Biltmore submarket of Phoenix.


Guided by our core values, the Maintenance Supervisor will partner with our Property Manager to keep the community beautiful and well-maintained while also leading our resident service and preventative maintenance operations to realize our mission to deliver superior service.


The successful candidate will ensure a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and staff. We will rely on you to anticipate, identify, and correct all problems throughout the property and to implement preventative measures for future problems.


To thrive in this role you must:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on supervisory experience in a high-volume maintenance setting, including electrical, plumbing, appliance troubleshooting and repair, and basic finish carpentry;
  • Be an active, hands-on participant on the maintenance team;
  • Establish and maintain a vendor base to facilitate unit turnover tasks and property repair needs;
  • Be a highly organized self-starter;
  • Have a high level of competency and communication with all staff, residents, vendors and professional associates


Your day will include:

  • Overseeing property maintenance
  • Being responsible for coaching and supervising all maintenance team members
  • Regular huddles to keep work moving and the team on track
  • Completion of various service requests from residents – our company is award-winning in customer service.
  • Regular completion of apartment turns including cleaning, drywall repair, and appliance repair/replacement; get units back to terrific condition in a fast-paced environment.


This position requires personal contact with apartment residents and a high level of efficiency in all aspects of maintenance operations. You must be able to work as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.


You will actively participate in:

  • Scheduling turns
  • Completing service requests
  • Preventive maintenance
  • Pool and grounds care
  • Suggesting capital improvements


We will trust in your previous experience in high-volume maintenance work and team supervision to cultivate exceptional resident satisfaction by being prompt, courteous, and efficient. This position consists of a terrific mix of scheduling, purchasing, supervision, and hands-on maintenance.

  • Physical Requirements: Frequent walking, stairs, standing, climbing, crouching, kneeling, and reaching. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
  • On-call rotation; overtime and weekend work may be required – on-call bonus included
  • HVAC/EPA certification is required
  • CPO license required
