SUMMARY:

The position of Project Manager will coordinate and execute complex testing projects from start to finish ensuring clients' expectations are met by producing accurate data, on time and with the appropriate level of client interactions.  Ensures an appropriate sense of urgency in converting backlog projects into revenue generation with an understanding of budget and actual resources.

NOTE:  As needed, may assume responsibilities for a Laboratory or Project Technician.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Authors protocol and complex work instructions to gain alignment with client expectations.
Executes testing projects, including in-process scope changes, without direct supervision.
Operates test equipment including, but not limited to forklifts, and conduct visual inspections.
Follows good documentation practices, collects data, stores data, and maintains project records, center’s database(s), and service schedule(s).
Creates, reviews and approves value creating technical reports on time.
Interacts with staff and clients in a professional manner, focused on building strong long-term relationships.
Recommends measures to improve procedures, processes and offerings consistently.
Performs facility / equipment maintenance, repair, restoration, and organization, as needed and required.
Prioritizes tasks and directs project support staff appropriately.
Actively participates in the quality and safety system management.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

A 4-year technical college degree or equivalent applicable experience
3 years experience working directly with clients to execute project-based work
1 year experience working directly with clients to owning all aspects of project-based work
