Civil Engineering Project Manager

CESO is seeking a talented Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead our team in planning, executing, and delivering projects that meet client expectations.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Define and establish project scope, schedule, and budget, while maintaining quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Outline project objectives and timelines for completion, and effectively communicate them to involved parties throughout the project.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact with assigned clients through frequent communication methods and lead client meetings.
  • Lead the preparation of civil engineering project proposals and manage a staff of engineers and technicians, assigning workloads as needed.
  • Communicate project status and performance to executive leadership and monitor project progress to ensure adherence with contractual agreements.
  • Assure project documentation and reporting are accurately maintained, and oversee coordination with clients and outside agencies for the procurement of sub-consultant needs and jurisdictional reviews.
  • Elicit cooperation from various sources, including upper management, clients, and internal departments, and provide resolution to client and project issues.
  • Responsible for invoicing clients and tracking accounts receivable on a monthly basis, and act as a team resource on complex engineering issues.
  • Develop and grow business relationships with existing client contacts and motivate team members through the creation of a positive work environment, providing mentoring, coaching, and training to assist in professional development.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer Licensure (PE) is preferred.
  • 5+ years of professional experience leading the management of projects.
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AutoTurn, HydroCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and Deltek.
  • Excellent communication and delegation skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage and mentor a team.
