We are looking for Senior IT Systems Administrator who will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the corporate IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate would possess strong project management and organizational skills, as well as hands-on experience managing systems. This position will require a close working relationship with the IT Director and Department Directors.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Windows server setup and deployment
  • Group Policy, PowerShell, DFS, DNS, iSCSI and Multipath I/O in a Hyper-V environment
  • VOIP phone system support
  • Email troubleshooting, blacklisting, spam prevention, logs
  • Cisco switch & ASA configuration
  • SQL administration, backups, and restore
  • internet information services (IIS) management
  • Oversee software deployment automation
  • Domain registrar administration such as NetSol and GoDaddy
  • Oversee Ticketing systems – Remedy, ZenDesk
  • Maintain onsite and offsite backup of corporate data
  • Design, implement and support small office networks
  • Develop and Test Disaster Recovery procedures
  • Performing regular updates, routine maintenance, and user security audits
  • Provide input into the acquisition of computer and networking equipment
  • Perform maintenance on automation scripts using DOS batch and PowerShell scripts
  • Oversee Licensing for purchased applications & manage vendor relationships
  • Work independently to complete internal IT projects.
  • Prioritize workload base on input from management.
  • Contribute toward annual budget development
  • Availability for off-hours break/fix

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related major
  • 5+ years proven experience as IT System Administrator
  • Experience with Hyper-V and SAN hardware/networking
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies including: Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server, SQL Server, Internet Information Services (IIS)
  • Working experience with LAN/WAN/VPN and network equipment (Cisco, SonicWall)
  • Knowledge of CRM or ERP systems
  • Intermediate to Advanced experience with the Microsoft Office suite
