Essential Duties

Project Management/Estimating is a division of the Ace Industries Manufacturing Division dedicated to the execution of high-profile projects customized engineering and concierge customer service.

·         Reviews project request for quotation, specifications, bid drawings, etc.

·         Provide estimates for cranes and runways to Ace Industries sales and service staff members.

·         Consults with salesperson and quotation group to ensure project being quoted meets customer specifications.

·         Organize and head Internal and External kick off Meetings.

·         Establishes and maintains schedule to milestones to be met for successful project completion including engineering, procurement, manufacturing and installation.

·         Coordinates expected product delivery dates with manufacturing and service to appropriately schedule with the customer

·         Coordinates with procurement group to ensure raw materials, components, stock items, are being procured in a timely manner to meet projected schedule.

·         Coordinates invoicing activities with Accounts Payable/Receivable and ensures invoicing is completed in a timely manner.

·         Ensure all end of job documentation is complete and filed.

·         Works within a project budget and assume project financial responsibility.

·         Works within a project timeframe.

·         Manage your assigned project.

·         Prepare Project Review and review lessons learned

 

Qualifications required for position

·         4 year college degree, Associates Degree, High-School Diploma or GED

·         Mechanical Aptitude

·         Strong Organizational Skills required.

·         Analytical and Detail Oriented

·         Able to review Bid Drawings and Takeoffs

·         Team Player

·         Strong written and verbal communications skills.

·         Ability to work independently and under direction of others.

·         Experience with manufacturing and/or equipment fabrication is a plus.

·         Computer Skills:

o   Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is required, particularly with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
