Job Overview:
The Network Engineer II is responsible for designing, engineering, and implementing new capacity on the existing DWDM network to support growth throughout the U.S. and Canada. This role involves collaboration with various internal teams, project managers, and field operations to ensure successful capacity fulfillment and network optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement DWDM network solutions per network architecture standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and manage communication to ensure progress on capacity fulfillment.
  • Create and maintain records in Salesforce or other systems, and provide project updates as needed.
  • Support field operations in resolving provisioning problems and verify technical data.
  • Manage daily workload, prioritize critical tasks, and maintain customer commitments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in telecommunications or data networking.
  • Strong knowledge of optical systems, ROADM technology, and signal flow designs.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google programs, and project management software.
  • Familiarity with optical systems from Fuji, Adva, Ciena, Cisco, Infinera, Nokia, and telecom inventory systems like Metasolv is a plus.

**Candidate will have successfully passed a Background Check. Start date is contingent on client**
