Nelsen Corporation is seeking a dedicated, collaborative 1st Shift Warehouse Order Picker to join our Medina, OH warehouse team.


Work Shift and Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM, with opportunity for overtime. No weekends.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

On the first of the month after 60 days:

  • Receive a pay increase for a good performance review
  • Health benefits eligibility
  • 80 hours (prorated for first year) paid time off (PTO)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Processing Orders

  • Use software system/pick ticket to pull items to fulfill customer’s order.
  • Properly pack items for shipment or stage for Production assembly.
  • Assemble units according to the Build of Material (BOM).
  • Load tanks with filtration media.
  • Ensure order accuracy with thorough paperwork and product review prior to each order shipment.

Additional Duties as Assigned

  • Perform routine housekeeping and maintenance duties.
  • Restock and rotate product.
  • Adhere to safety standards, immediately correcting or reporting unsafe conditions.
  • Other duties as needed.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the team.
  • Ability to lift, lower and slide 50-70 pounds.
  • Ability to use small hand tools.
  • High-reach forklift experience a plus.
  • Wireless warehouse management system scanner experience a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic computer literacy with keyboard skills.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of Warehouse, Shipping and Safety experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems, including use of scanners, preferred.
