Job Summary
I am seeking a skilled pet groomer to join my team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with both dogs and cats and providing top-notch grooming services. I am looking for a groomer that is willing to use their own vehicle to drive to client's homes and working inside homes, utilizing client's bath tub to wash dogs or cats and styling them. A portable grooming table will be provided along with other equipment as needed. In house grooming is really good for senior pets and pets that have severe separation anxiety. This type of service is not offered in Coachella Valley and I believe it's a great addition to cater pets and clients needs

This job is a part time position for the summer for the remainder of August to take over my clients while I recover from an injury. Position will lead to full time either in September or October with new clientele.

Pay will be 50% commission plus tips

Responsibilities

-Drive to clients home using your own vehicle
- Bathe, brush, and style cats and dogs' fur according to pet owners' preferences inside client's homes.
- Trim pets' nails, clean their ears, express small dog anal glands, and ensure overall cleanliness
- Handle pets with care and compassion during grooming sessions
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area

Qualifications
- Experience in pet grooming or related field is required. Must have over 5 years experience.
- Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
- Ability to handle animals safely and with patience
- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners effectively
- Certification in pet grooming or completion of a pet grooming program is required.

-Must know how to groom cats which includes lioncuts, nails, ear cleaning, sanitary trims, baths.
