The Jeffreys have cared for pets in the greater Coachella Valley for over a decade for locals and seasonal visitors alike.
El Paseo Animal Hospital is a new veterinary center owned & operated by Dr. Rachael Jeffrey & Dr. David Jeffrey. Open five days a week, we practice low-stress handling techniques treating cats, dogs, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, rats, pocket pets, birds, pet chickens & ducks, amphibians, reptiles, pigs, & goats of Palm Desert, CA, & the Coachella Valley. Our services include wellness exams, sick visits, vaccinations, microchipping, nutrition & weight management, allergy & dermatology, X-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab, dental, surgery including spay & neuter, pain management, in-house pharmacy, reptile habitat consultation, snake relocation, & more

We offer 30-minute appointment times to focus on the needs of our patients and clients and benefit the doctors and staff. Our goal is to have both healthy patients and healthy doctors. Compassion fatigue and toxic stress are real and present dangers in this profession, and we endeavor to combat them in our practice in many ways, including a negotiable salary, generous benefits, and a family-friendly atmosphere.

- A high staff-to-doctor ratio enables our dedication to the highest levels of patient care and client relationships
- Diverse practice caseload ranging from dogs, cats + exotics, and an array of species: from pocket pets (rabbits, guinea pigs), reptiles (bearded dragons, turtles), LOTS of birds of all shapes and sizes (African Greys, geese, swans, chickens)
- Base salary of $120k-$170k + production bonus (negotiable depending on experience)
