Currently, Division 7 Inc. is expanding our sales force and is looking for high-quality team players in the Grand County area. We are currently looking for someone who has construction industry experience in sales. This position will report directly to the VP of the company with responsibilities inclusive of identifying new project opportunities targeting single-family and multi-family builders, developers, general contractors, architects, designers, repair & remodel companies, and installers. This role maintains key customer relationships and serves as the primary contact for new customers as well as existing customers.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting to fulfill the branch marketing goals and to achieve the sales goals

• Perform takeoffs (from blueprints and existing structures), develop estimates, write client proposals

• Assisting in the preparation of materials lists and coordinating purchasing and delivery of materials

• Develop and maintain relationships with both current and potential clients

• Provide customer support from start to finish of all projects and maintain contact after completion of projects

• Accurately estimate and price all work to maximize volume and profitability

• Preparing client proposals and following up to close the sale

• Monitoring the deployment of all projects to ensure the achievement of quality and timely execution

• Interacting with the Superintendent and Foreman to ensure customer/contact requirements and timelines are met

• Documenting, coordinating, and communicating any project change orders to field and customer

• Ensuring accurate and timely billings and assisting in collection efforts if required

 

Qualifications:

• Degree in Construction Management or 5+ years’ experience in a related field

• The ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications

• Ideal candidate will be both strong in sales and project management

• Practical knowledge related to working on construction job sites

• Proven experience in sales, preferably within the construction or building materials industry

• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and terminology

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to articulate technical information in a clear and concise manner

• Self-motivated and results-oriented

• Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and presentation tools

• Valid driver's license

• Experience with Pro Core and other construction-specific software

The salary range for this position is between $65,000 and $95,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. This position is also eligible for commission. Benefits include 401K, Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, and PTO.
